March Meeting of Young Professionals Features “The Art of Giving and Getting Referrals”

Andrew Politi, national vice president of commercial and retail sales for Paid Harbor Collections, will present “The Art of Giving and Getting Referrals,” on March 27 at the monthly meeting of the Lakewood Chamber Young Professionals, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Connelly Station, 711 Main Street, Belmar, New Jersey.

In his presentation, Politi will discuss the proper use of business cards, why people refer, how to listen effectively, how to build a network, and how to gain more referrals.

As vice president of Paid Harbor Collections, Politi is in charge of business development, and the training and management of its staff. Politi has worked in the commercial and retail credit and collection industry for 27 years and is a professionally trained sales associate.

Politi, a graduate of Howell High School, Farmingdale, N.J., received his B.A. in economics and banking from Rutgers University in 1980. He is a founding member (1997) and past president of CRA (Corporate Resource Alliance) (2005-2007), a premier New Jersey networking association for business owners, top-level executives, and professionals who work in a specific business or industry. Politi is a soccer coach for the Girls’ U15 Travel team, East Brunswick; and a student and teacher at the Jersey Shore Aikikai Martial Arts School, Point Pleasant.
