OHI Announces the Opening of a Second Dental Office
Ocean Health Initiatives (OHI), a federally qualified health center (FQHC, will be opening a new dental office for adults and children at its Toms River location, 301 Lakewood Road, Toms River, on February 25, 2008. (Another OHI dental office has been in operation in Lakewood at 101 Second Street since December 2003. The new office, staffed by Dr. Patricia Gibbons, Cape May, and her dental assistant Karen Weidner, Beachwood, will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Dr. Gibbons received her B.A. in biology from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received her D.M.D. as a general dentist from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia in 1994. In dental school, Dr. Gibbons was nominated and elected by her classmates to serve on the ethical board of the student government.
As a general dentist, Dr. Gibbons is qualified to diagnose and deliver preventive, restorative, periodontal, and prosthodontic services. Her other services include extractions and minor oral surgical procedures.
