OHI to Honor Dr. Lombardino and Yoga & U Founder Alison Ingenito at Cocktail Reception and Fundraiser

OHI (Ocean Health Initiative, Inc.), a Federally Qualified Health Care Center with offices in Lakewood and Toms River, is honoring two outstanding community leaders with the 2009 Community Service Recognition Award at a fund raising event and cocktail reception, Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Eagle Ridge Golf Club, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dr. Anthony Lombardino, vice president of medical affairs at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, and Alison Ingenito, founder and CEO of Yoga & U, LLC, will each be recognized for their services to OHI and the community.

OHI is dedicated to providing accessible and affordable primary health care to the uninsured and underinsured adults and children in Ocean County. Money raised for this event will benefit OHI patients and programs, such as pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, dental health, and social services.

Dr. Lombardino is being recognized for his significant role in the initial development of OHI and for his continuing influence on the growth and expansion of OHI. Alison Ingenito, through Yoga & U, LLC, has been instrumental in donating gifts for more than 1,000 OHI pediatric patients during the holidays.

The Honorable Thomas F. Kelaher, Mayor of Toms River, was the recipient of the first Community Service Recognition Award for being a dedicated supporter of health care reform for Ocean County residents.
